Dear Eagle Nation,
Welcome to the 2023 – 2024 school year! We are looking forward to a wonderful year filled with many successes and achievements on the part of our students! As we head into the school year, there will be many opportunities for our students and our parents/guardians to get involved, and I encourage you to do so. Students who have a deeper connection to school through extra-curricular activities and athletics often do better academically. Parents/guardians who are engaged in their child’s academic and extracurricular pursuits often are better able to keep their finger on the pulse of what is happening, both in their child’s life and in the life of the school. Both of these are important.
Our District’s vision is to be a model of excellence in rural education. Our mission statement is, “As a partnership of rural, agricultural communities, the Madison-Plains Local School District will achieve excellence through quality educational resources to maximize student success." Excellence is at the heart of both our vision and our mission, and we are striving to be excellent as a District. We have seen some wonderful successes, and we recognize there are opportunities for growth. We are working to get better every day!
As we head into the school year, please know we are here to serve. If questions arise, or if we can be of service, please do not hesitate to reach out. Our partnership with our parents/guardians and community is important, and we look forward to working together to help our students be successful in all facets of their educational journey!
