Dear MPLSD Parents, Guardians, and Staff,

The purpose of this communication is to share a some information.  

First, as you know, MPLSD was on a scheduled two-hour delay today for professional development  That two-hour professional development delay is being transitioned to a weather-related delay.  

Our Tolles bus run that was scheduled to run on on the special two-hour delay route is not going to run due to weather concerns.  

There are reports of power outages and road blockages due to the weather.  I am monitoring and assessing the situation and will communicate if further decisions need to be made regarding the rest of the day.
